Weeknight Bible Studies Throughout the school year, various adult Bible studies are offered for Christian spiritual formation. Some of the courses offered include Disciple Bible Study, Christian Believer, Financial Peace University and other short-term topical studies. Sunday Morning Classes We have Sunday morning classes for every age range. Being a part of a small group working together on spiritual formation is one of the foundations for growing into a mature disciple of Jesus Christ. It’s also a lot of fun! All these groups welcome you to join them any Sunday at 9:30.

Young in Spirit This monthly gathering of spirited older adults meets for fellowship, excursions, special guest speakers and to support community mission interests.  Join in the fun the first Fridays of each month at 11:00 a.m.  Click here for more information

Crusaders

We are very active in volunteering our time both within the church and with service projects outside the church. Our favorite studies are anything by Adam Hamilton and we love open discussions.

Spiritual Seekers Class
Leader: Rosalyn Chandler
General Age Range: 50-70+

Our class has been together for several years, currently navigating our way through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, following the study guide ‘Shepherd’s Notes.

Cokesbury Class

We are a group of diverse individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and life experiences that come together to study the word of God.

Men’s Class

We are a group of men walking through the scriptures with intentionality. We would invite you to join us.

Amplify

General Age Range: 30-50 Somethings

Our group is interested in turning up the volume on our faith lives. If you would like to engage in thought-provoking and discipleship building conversations, guided by God’s Word and contemporary touchstones, this class is for you. We utilize the ample amount of Bible study videos and resources through Amplify Media.

Violette Johnson Class
Leader: Rachel Davis
General Age Range: 60+
Room: 143
Our group is a diverse group of young at heart adults, led by retired school teachers who rotate both traditional and contemporary study lessons. We encourage members to freely express opinions and beliefs without judgement or rebuke. We learn from each other.

Wesleyan Class
Leaders: Jane Sikes & Louise Halley
General Age Range: Couples and singles from young adults to grandparents.

Our class is a most welcoming, loving, inclusive and caring class of couples and singles. We are very proud to sponsor the Cole Halley Memorial Scholarship Fund given each year to a graduating high school senior. Other service projects we participate in are providing Christmas gifts to Veterans and monthly service to CJCOHN

S.A.L.T. Class
Leader: Don Balch
General Age Range: 40-somethings
Our class is a group of dynamic and open-minded people that focuses on scripture based studies. 

Youth

Youth Sunday School
Open for grades 6-12 from 9:30am to 10:15am upstairs in room 212. The students will have the opportunity to discuss classic Bible stories through modern day lenses.

Youth Fellowship
Sunday evenings 5:00-7:00pm.
Food, Games, Fun, Deep Discussions, and Fellowship!
Meet in the Family Life Center and bring a friend!

Children

Sunday School
Sunday School is available for children ages 3-years-old to 5th Grade. Children of all ages learn the basic stories of the Christian faith. K-5th Grade. Sunday school classes are from 9:30-10:30 each Sunday morning. Teaching teams go in depth with the Bible story for the week. Our Sunday School Department follows the safe gatherings policy. Children MUST be signed in by a parent or guardian of legal age. We are committed to keeping our children safe while in our care.

Acolytes
Acolytes help in worship by lighting candles and helping with things like the offering and Holy Communion. Please contact Jessica Butler to learn more about being an acolyte!

Children’s Chapel
Children ages 3-years-old through 5th Grades are invited to attend Children’s Chapel during the 8:30am and 10:30 am worship service. Following the Children’s Message, they will be invited to go to the Children’s Chapel area, where they will sing, pray, learn the Lord’s Prayer, and hear a Bible story, which follows the story being shared in the sanctuary. The children will be picked up by parents following the service.

Recess (Please check for dates!)
On Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm, children K-5th are invited to participate in Kid’s Club. The children learn basic Bible principles, play games, and do monthly mission projects. We take seasonal breaks, so please contact Jenn for an updated calendar or follow us on our Facebook page for up to date information!

Special Events
The children look forward to numerous events sponsored by the Children’s Ministry throughout the year. We have an annual Palm Sunday sanctuary parade,  Easter Egg Hunt in the spring. The entire church helps with Vacation Bible School in the summer. The kids also have an annual summer lock-in, swim parties, bible boot camp and other camp retreats. The church-wide Fall Fest is a fun time for all in the fall, and it includes a Trunk-or-Treat and the United Methodist Men’s Annual Chili Cook-off. K-5th graders participate in an annual Christmas program as well as The Sights & Sounds of Christmas, where the children perform their songs. There are many activities for children to join throughout the year!

Small Blessings Learning Academy is a part time preschool program operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30am-2:15pm. Our preschool is a Christ centered program focused on providing a safe, loving, experience rich learning environment that supports the child’s complete early childhood development.

PREFERRED ENROLLMENT
Preferred enrollment—all currently enrolled students and siblings and Bryant First UMC church members—opens in January, dates to be announced. Enrollment forms will be accepted in person only and MUST include the $75 registration fee.

OPEN ENROLLMENT
Open enrollment—all new families— begins in January, dates to be announced.  Enrollment forms will be accepted in person only and MUST include the $75 registration fee.
